Groundworker – Civil Engineering & Infrastructure, Amsterdam

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands. Dura Vermeer, one of the largest construction companies in the Netherlands (family business since 1855, ~3,775 employees), is looking for a motivated groundworker for its civil engineering (road, groundworks and hydraulic engineering) team in Amsterdam. Duties: - Digging trenches and carrying out general groundwork - Laying sewer systems - Assisting with placing formwork and pipelines - Working accurately according to quality and safety guidelines Projects include underground and above-ground infrastructure (Middenmeer Noord, Linnaeusstraat Amsterdam), asphalt maintenance and site preparation (demolition, remediation, making land ready for building). Conditions: temporary contract, approx. €3,670 gross per month.

Requirements

• Experience in civil engineering / groundworks (GWW)
• Vocational education (MBO) level
• Hands-on team player with an eye for quality and safety
• Basic Dutch or English is an advantage
• Right to work in the Netherlands / EU
